چکیده
Introduction The reinforced concrete tilt-up building is the most popular form of light industrial and low-rise commercial construction in the Western United States and is a significant portion of new construction nationwide. This popularity is primarily driven by the construction speed and economical nature of tilt-up construction. Architectural acceptance has become more widespread as tilt-up construction has adapted to the demands of taller buildings with better aesthetics involving irregular plan shapes, more glass, and accent treatments. Tilt-up construction is becoming more common for office buildings, assembly occupancies, and even schools. Originally a one-story form of construction, tilt-up buildings are now commonly two and three stories.
